We aim to provide a package of care tailored to a client's individual needs, whether this be on an hourly or live-in basis.

We will be in continuous contact with family members and healthcare professionals in order to achieve the best quality of care and remove any anxiety caused to family or the client by ensuring there is no lack of communication. We understand the concern family members have when it comes to the care of a loved one and we feel they offer great insight, which will be extremely helpful to us in our provision of care.

We are meticulous in the care process, as we are dealing with peoples' lives and therefore they and their family have to be assured of the best possible care and attention. Our clients' wishes have to be respected and incorporated into the care and support we provide, without discrimination but with the dignity and independence of our client in our mind at all times.

In addition to hourly care, we also offer a live-in care service which enables the client to live in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of their own home thereby removing the stressful prospect of selling their property and moving into a residential or nursing home.

Throughout the live-in care service the carer will support the client in all manner of roles eg housework, shopping etc. The carer will accompany the client to doctor / dental / hospital appointments, where necessary and only of course with the permission of the client. But it's not just about doctors and hospital visits, it's about maintaining a quality of life and therefore the carer will help with all aspects of a client's life such as going to the cinema, meeting friends and generally ensuring they have an active social life, where applicable.

Prior to the start of the service, our client will be introduced to a few carers, each one fully conversant with the skills and experience to provide the care that our client needs. Each carer will be selected on their personal compatibility with our client, which we feel is necessary - especially for the provision of a live-in care service. A weekly or bi-weekly rota will then be implemented in accordance with the choice of carer.

A review of the care package will take place after 6 weeks, then again after 3, 6 and 9 months. A formal review of the Care Plan will take place every 12 months, to ensure that care is being correctly delivered, our client's wishes being adhered to and if any changes are required.

Our carers are reliable, discreet, friendly, courteous, professional and non judgemental. They are carefully vetted prior to selection. All potential carers are interviewed in person, with two original references obtained prior to starting work. Carers undergo an enhanced CRB check. New carers take part in our induction program, which is followed by specific training modules to ensure they meet a client's individual needs and the company's standard of care. Once they are offered and take up a position with a client, they are closely monitored and supervised throughout with supervision meetings, appraisals and further ongoing training.

Our staff are fully covered by Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance and abide by a strict code of conduct, including procedures for personal hygiene and health and safety.
